Overall, the Cavegirls placed sixth, and the Cavemen seventh, in a field of 12. Olivia Jang paced the Cavegirl effort. Cavemen Season Ends with Playoff Loss to Hobbs
By Don Eskins Carlsbad High’s Cavemen football team closed out the 2025 season with a 30-19 loss to the Hobbs Eagles during quarterfinal action of this year’s state tournament in Hobbs on Friday night, November 14. CHS Cross Country State Meet Results The Cavemen and Cavegirl cross country teams placed 13th at the recent NMAA Cross Country State Championship Meet in Albuquerque on Saturday, November 8. Overall, the Cavegirls placed fifth and the Cavemen sixth in a 15-team field. Cavegirls Knock Off Roswell
By Don Eskins The Cavegirl volleyball team rallied to knock off the Roswell Coyotes in five sets in the Alien City on Thursday, October 30. Although CHS has had trouble closing out teams in 2025, it was not so in their battle with the Coyotes.
