CHS Tennis Hosts Claire Higgins Invitational
By Don Eskins Carlsbad High School’s Cavemen and Cavegirl tennis teams will host the Claire Higgins Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14. Contestants will compete in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles at the tournament. Each team, boys and girls, will have two singles, two doubles, and two mixed doubles entries. In a draw, each is guaranteed four matches. Tournament play will take place at the Pecos River Courts and at Carlsbad High. Play will begin promptly at 9
