Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce

Admin Assistant

In 2023, I was lucky enough to join the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce team. Since then, I’ve helped move our billing system online, and worked behind the scenes to set up registrations, tickets, and logistics for some of our biggest events such as Christmas on the Pecos, Cars on the Pecos, Beerfest, the Golf Tournament, Leadership Carlsbad, and Carlsbad Under 40. A lot of what I do is behind the scenes. I am so lucky to work with an amazing team where we always encourage each other to share our ideas and thoughts on each project.

The contribution I am most proud of may not be the biggest, but it means the world to me; each year on May 23, I organize Auggies Day of Good Deeds.

It is a day where friends and family go out in our community and do random acts of kindness for strangers in honor of our son, August, who was still born in 2022 after many years of infertility and IVF.

I hope that this continues to grow each year and will one day become a huge event.
