Melba Statham, 92, of Legion Ave., passed away September 6, 2020 at her home.
Melba was born April 21, 1928 in Greenwood, Arkansas to John and Netti (Roberts) Clark. She
married Hubert H. Statham April 28, 1955 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and they moved to Carlsbad
the following year. Melba took great pride in raising her children. Her hobbies included cooking,
sewing, crocheting, quilting, crossword puzzles and watching game shows but being with her
family was the absolute most important. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Hubert H. Statham; son, Alan Blevins; daughters: Louise Sneed and Carolyn Sue Statham; great-
granddaughter, Alexandria Ahl; 6 sisters and 7 brothers.
Survivors are her children: Sandra Klassen (Robert), Sharon Kiles, Terry Statham (Cheryl), Pam
Fierro (Adam), Tina Statham, Jacque Statham (Robert McCloud); 19 grandchildren; 25 great-
grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
