George T. Bartlett

George T. Bartlett, was born on March 15, 1935, in Cement, Oklahoma. He passed away on
March 2, 2021, in Lovington, NM.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will have services at a later date.
As a child, his family moved to Carlsbad, NM where he attended school and graduated from
Carlsbad High School in 1953. He met and married Joyce Golleher in July 1955. They had four
children, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. His greatest thrills were hunting, fishing,
and hanging out with his grandchildren. George will be deeply missed by all of his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Cindy Porter of Carlsbad, NM, Donna Thiebaud of Lubbock, TX,
Brenda Anglin and spouse Patrick Anglin of Lubbock, TX, Justin Bartlett and spouse Jeannie
Bartlett of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Jessica Crabb of Lubbock, TX, Jeremy Crabb of
Lubbock, TX, Gabriel Crabb of McKinney, TX, Aaron Blair of Carlsbad, NM; Alaina Bartlett of
Carlsbad, NM, Matthew Porter of Carlsbad, NM, and Lacey Perkins of Carlsbad, NM; great-
grandchildren: Jaylee. Thomas, Kali, Mckenzie, Sydney, Nolan, Preslea, Paxton, Jaxon, and
Lily.
