Senior Hayden Brose topped a list of eight Cavegirls selected for 2025 post-season honors by District 4/5A.

Brose, a Cavegirl forward All-District 4/5A First Team selection, was also recognized as the conference’s Player of the Year.

“Hayden worked her tail off for us this season. Due to the number of injuries we had, we had to move her around to different positions, but she always gave the team everything she had,” said Cavegirl head coach Misty Long.

“She was also a leader for us both on and off the field. She deserved to be recognized by District 4/5A coaches as our conference Player of the Year.”

Also receiving First Team All-District 4/5A honors were senior defender Natalia Franco and junior midfielder Thalia Payanes.

Second Team honors went to freshman forward Juliette Licon, sophomore forward Emma Allen, senior defender Ariyana Rogers, and freshman keeper Serenity Medrano.

Collecting a District 4/5A Honorable Mention was sophomore mid-fielder Ashlyn Martinez.

“We had a lot of injuries and adversity to play through this year. But this group of young ladies worked hard and kept up a positive attitude throughout the season,” said Long. “They were a fun group of girls to coach and clearly deserved to be recognized as All-District 4/5A players. Our staff is so proud of them all.”

Overall, in 2025, the Cavegirls compiled a record of 4-13-3. In District 4/5A play, they were 2-4.
