The Carlsbad Cavemen baseball team will test the Goddard Rockets, on Saturday, April 4, in Roswell. A twinbill, games are set for 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Carlsbad, after going 1-2 at the Rio Rancho Invitational, March 26-28, will enter the double header with an overall record of 8-8.

In Rio Rancho Carlsbad downed St. Pius 20-5 before dropping games to La Cueva 10-4 and Rio Rancho 6-2.

The Goddard Rockets currently sit at 10-3 on the year.

On Tuesday, April 7, the Cavegirl Softball team will host the Artesia Bulldogs in a twi-night double header. Game times are scheduled for 4:30 and 6:30.

The Cavegirls, who took three of five contests at the Rio Rancho Invitational, March 26-28, are 5-7 on the year. Artesia will take the field with a record of 8-4.

At the Rio Rancho Invitational the Cavegirls defeated Bloomfield 17-1, Rio Rancho 10-6 and Kirtland Central 8-3. They lost to Aztec 5-3 and Alamogordo 6-0.
