Carlos Velez, 32, of Loving, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020. Carlos was born November 24, 1987 in Puebla, Mexico and came to Carlsbad in 1996. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2007. Carlos was employed at Keystone Pump and Supply for 7 years. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan as well as the Lakers and Yankees. Carlos was a hard-working, great man who enjoyed being with his family. More than that, he lived for his daughter, Mia, who was the light of his life. Survivors are his daughter, Mia Navaeh Velez; fiancé, Sierra Chavez; parents: Felix and Aurora Medina; siblings: Lucero Montoya (Fabian), Stephanie Medina, Marco Sanchez (Melissa).
