Pecos Valley Physician Group Welcomes Urologist

Carlsbad Medical Center and the Pecos Valley Physician Group are pleased to welcome Urologist Mitchell Petty, D.O., to Carlsbad.

Dr. Petty earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical science from Texas A&M University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX, and completed a general surgery internship and urology residency at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA.

“Urology care has been a huge need for this community,” said Matthew Banks, Carlsbad Medical Center CEO. “We are pleased that Dr. Petty has joined us so that local patients may no longer have to travel out of town for this specialty.”

Dr. Petty is a member of the medical staff at Carlsbad Medical Center and is accepting new patients at Pecos Valley Urology. He sees a full range of adult male and female urology patients, with problems including kidney stones, prostate issues, and incontinence.
