The Carlsbad Under 40 is a program that recognizes young up and coming leaders within our community. As part of the Elevate Carlsbad council with the Chamber of Commerce, the goal is to find the best of the best in their respective fields. Once individuals are nominated, they are then required to submit a short questionnaire that highlights their professional and community impact. Then the Elevate Carlsbad council grades these entries on a scale of 60% work and 40% community involvement to come up with a final score. Those selected will have a score of 8.0 or higher, with the highest possible score being 10. Out of 44 nominees this year, 27 were ultimately selected.
