Emily Cash

Emily Cash has been a proud resident of Carlsbad for the past 10 years. Currently, she is a Petroleum Landman and co-owns Zia Fitness, a CrossFit gym where she is a dedicated CrossFit Level 1 Coach. Emily is passionate about making a difference in each of her gym members’ lives, offering her unwavering support and guidance to help each person grow as an athlete and as an individual. She holds a diverse professional background, previously working as a Real Estate Agent and High School Counselor.

Originally from Bossier City, Louisiana, Emily’s favorite aspect of Carlsbad is its people. She appreciates the warm and welcoming community as she has never felt like an outsider. Inspired by her grandmother and mother, Emily values hard work and kindness. She looks up to them for instilling important qualities and hopes to emulate their strength, thoughtfulness, and generosity in the future.

Because of the warm embrace she received when she arrived, Emily became actively involved in our community to support efforts to create a healthier, more vibrant, and unified community for all to live and work in. She has been a devoted member of the Assistance League, where she had previously served as the Ducky Chair.

Each year, she decorates Christmas Trees for the annual Christmas Tree Auction. This year, Emily was a huge part of the Denim and Diamonds Committee, helping raise over $50,000 to purchase brand-new school clothes for children. Emily currently serves as a Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Ambassador where she volunteers her time to be a champion for all Carlsbad area businesses, as well as helping support numerous events across the community.

In her free time, Emily enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, swimming, and CrossFit. She is also an avid reader and loves spending quality time with family and friends. Crafting and contributing to her community through various organizations are additional passions.
