I’ve been with Carlsbad High School for six years, starting as a teacher and now serving as both a counselor and an administration intern. My professional focus has been dedicated to supporting our English language learner population. In addition to my roles within the school, I’ve coached soccer at the high school for five years. I also actively serve my community and support our athletics programs. I also actively engage in community service initiatives and tirelessly support our athletics programs, recognizing their vital role in fostering school spirit and providing positive outlets for our youth. These multifaceted contributions, spanning education, mentorship, and community engagement, demonstrate my deep commitment to the well-being and development of Carlsbad.

Eddy County Commission Approves RFP for Construction of New Detention Center

During Tuesday’s Commission Meeting on November 18, the Eddy County Board of County Commissioners approved the Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit competitive bids from qualified firms for the construction of a new Eddy County Detention Center. The project will be located at 1501 Corrales Drive in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
