CNB Bank announced today that it has purchased the 10,445 square feet former border patrol office on the south side of town at 5203 Buena Vista Street and National Parks Highway in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The acquisition is a strategic move to support the bank’s continued growth and to expand its internal operations as it approaches a significant milestone.

“As other banks are downsizing, we’re doing the opposite—we’re investing in growth,” said Jay Jenkins, President and CEO of CNB Bank. “This acquisition allows us to scale our operations while also supporting our upcoming downtown branch remodel.” The purchase of this office reflects CNB Bank’s commitment to investing in its infrastructure to better serve its customers and community. With over 110 employees, the additional space will allow the bank to streamline operations and accommodate future expansion as it continues to grow in the region. Plans for the remodeling of the downtown branch are underway, with the bank aiming to minimize disruption to customers and staff by utilizing the newly acquired facility for temporary workspace and long-term operational needs. Century 21 Dunagan Associates represented the bank on the purchase.
