Brandy Kuenzler

Brandy Kuenzler is a dedicated healthcare professional with over a decade of nursing experience across multiple specialties. Originally from Gallup, New Mexico, she relocated to Carlsbad at age 16 and has become deeply invested in the Carlsbad community.

After graduating from Carlsbad High School, Brandy pursued her education at NMSU-C, earning her Associate’s degree in Nursing in 2013. She went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 at Highlands University and has since completed her Master’s degree of Science in Nursing at Walden University in 2024.

Brandy started her nursing career working at a Level One Trauma Hospital in Lubbock, TX, where she worked Ortho Trauma and the Burn Unit. She then went on to gain diverse clinical experience while working in other healthcare settings like Cardiac Cath Lab, Operating Room, Hospice, and Corrections. She currently serves as a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Carlsbad Family Health Center. Brandy attributes her success to God.

Brandy has been an active volunteer within the community and participated in Mission Carlsbad for over 15 years as both a student and team leader. She has also been active in numerous activities at First Baptist Church, including Upward Basketball and Vacation Bible School. In her free time, Brandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, spontaneous trips, and being outdoors. She has a love for animals, especially her dogs, Bug and Kane. Her goals are to continue to serve and give back to the Carlsbad Community, to promote and enhance the lives of others, and to provide an environment that is safe and nurturing.
