I believe that I have brought a valuable service to Carlsbad in the form of recorded video that was lacking before I started doing it. Working with and getting to know city councilors, county commissioners, law enforcement, and various other nonprofits and organizations in the area has given me a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into things we might take for granted, and my mission is to shine a light on it for others. Every video I make is crafted with the intent of not only telling these stories but celebrating them. I want the viewers of my videos (whether a recap of a local event or a highlight of a local business or service, etc.) to come away learning something new about their community, and I feel like I am succeeding in that.

Eddy County Commission Approves RFP for Construction of New Detention Center

During Tuesday’s Commission Meeting on November 18, the Eddy County Board of County Commissioners approved the Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit competitive bids from qualified firms for the construction of a new Eddy County Detention Center. The project will be located at 1501 Corrales Drive in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
