Update: Cavegirls Drop Two to Hobbs

The Cavegirl softball team, riding high after sweeping both the Clovis Wildcats and Roswell Coyotes to go 4-0 in the race for this year’s District 4/A title, dropped two to the Hobbs Eagles, 4-1 and 6-2, in Hobbs on Tuesday, April 21.

With the losses, the Cavegirls fell to 9-11 on the year and 4-2 in conference play.

The Cavegirls will host the Clovis Wildcats for a doubleheader at Cavegirl Park on Friday, April 24. Game times are set for 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.The following are the box score results for the Cavegirls’ twin bill at Hobbs.
