Lucas Bluth, the 2026 District 4/5A champion, and runner-up Sean Erosido qualified for singles play at the Big Dance.

Steven Pham and teammate Alex Burns, runners-up at the conference tournament, qualified for state in doubles.

The CHS boys’ team, runner-up in District 4/5A play, also received an at-large berth to compete on the NMAA’s biggest stage of the year.

The Cavemen team is comprised of Bluth, Erosido, Burns, Pham, Grayson Reed, and Josh Cooper.

Carlsbad’s effort at the state meet will be posted in the May 15 edition of the Carlsbad Local.
