Cavemen, Cavegirls Soccer Season Over

Both the Cavemen and Cavegirl soccer teams have closed out the 2024 season. Following a 2-0 loss to Clovis and 4-0 losses to Roswell and Hobbs, the Cavemen finished the year at 2-18 and 0-6 in District 4/5A.

The Cavegirls, having dropped two of their final three games, ended the season with a 5-15 yearly mark and were 1-5 in conference.

After posting a 2-1 overtime victory over Clovis, Carlsbad’s girls lost their final two games of the season to Roswell 3-1 and Hobbs 8-0.

Cavegirl Volleyball Report

The Cavegirl volleyball team currently sits at 7-12 on the year and is 0-3 in district play.

Since opening conference play on October 15, Carlsbad has dropped games to Clovis 3-2, Roswell 3-1, and Hobbs 3-1.

CHS will continue District 4/5A play on Tuesday, October 29, with a game against Clovis in the Cavern City. Game times are set at 5 p.m. for the JVs and 6 p.m. for the varsity.
