re preserving the past and connecting it to the present is part of our everyday mission.

Local history collections are more than just old documents; they are a window into the lives, events, and traditions that shaped our community. Whether you are a student working on a school project, a family historian tracing your roots, or simply someone curious about how our area has evolved, the library offers a wealth of materials to explore.

Our collection includes historical newspapers, maps, city directories, and regional records that capture moments both big and small. These resources allow visitors to see how neighborhoods have changed over time, learn about influential community members, and better understand the industries and events that have defined our region.
