Aden Quintela 4/5A Player of the Year

Ten Cavemen, highlighted by Aden Quintela’s choice as the 2025 Player of the Year, have been selected to this year’s All-District 4/5A baseball team.

Quintela, who excelled on the mound, in the field, and at the plate, was also named as a First Team All-District infielder.

On the mound, the Cavemen righty accumulated a record of 8-0 with an ERA of just 1.3. At the plate, he hit a hefty .358. With the bat, he registered eight extra-base hits, six doubles, one triple, and one home run.

Freshman Wade Cozart was named the District 4/5A Newcomer of the Year. Cozart, who anchored third base, hit .344 with four doubles and one home run. For his defensive efforts at third base, he was given Honorable Mention honors.

Jonas Molinar also received All-District honors at two spots. Molinar was named as a First Team pitcher, 8-0 with an ERA of 2.1, and First Team utility infielder.

Also receiving All-District honors were First team catchers Jayden Carter and Connor Roberson; First team infielder Eloy Lopez; First team outfield Garrett Fuentes and Richard Herrera; Second team outfield Gus Risher; and First team designated hitter Tanner Collins.
