Patricia “Patsy” Ann Rodriguez, 64, of West Fox Street Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Patsy was born on May 5, 1956, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Angel and Zenaida T. Rodriguez.
Patsy grew up in Carlsbad, and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1974. She then started working at Landsun Unit of Lakeview Christian Home, where she worked for 40 plus years until retirement in 2020. Patsy loved her friends, family, and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Angel C. Rodriguez, Sr.; mother, Zenaida T. Rodriguez; and brother, Albert T. Rodriguez.
Patsy is survived by her brother, Angel C. Rodriguez, Jr. and wife, Jane of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Armando T. Rodriguez of Tucson, AZ; brother, Alfred T. Rodriguez and wife, Deanna of McKinney, TX; sister-in-law, Emily Rodriguez of Frisco, TX; eight nieces and nephews: Annette Contreras, Lindsey Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, Angela Markham, Jared T. Rodriguez, Jalen M. Rodriguez, Alexa Jade Zenaida Rodriguez, and Jensen Louise Rodriguez; five great nieces and nephews; and special recognition to Patsy’s very dear friend, Joni Nesbit.
