Fauniel Lloyd passed away at the age of 99 years, 11 months on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Her body was donated to Texas Tech Medical School and will later be cremated.
Fauniel had a bright mind, quick wit, strong determination and warm spirit. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, certified medical assistant, landscaper, teacher, consultant and pet sitter were some of the other “hats” she wore. Fauniel made a lasting impression on all those she met. Each health or personal problem was overcome because of her determination and strength of spirit. She had a deep faith and truly cared about the people she met. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors are her sister, Margery Ridgway and husband, Glen; 2 sisters-in-law; daughters: Gail Lloyd, Kay Taylor and Joan Lloyd; grandson, Rob Taylor; granddaughter, Renee Nelson and husband, Ryan and many nieces and nephews.
