Memorial Service: August 1, 2020, Church Street Church of the Nazarene
Brad A. Kostedt, 25, of Carlsbad, passed away July 14, 2020. He was born February 10, 1995 in Clovis, NM, to Allan and Sonja Kostedt. He attended the following schools in various places. Brad had a passion for basketball and played for Alta Vista Middle School and went on to play three years of basketball at Carlsbad High School. Brad was a friend to many, and would do anything for his friends. He always tried to help others that he believed may not be able to help themselves. Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stan and Joan Kostedt. He is survived by his parents Allan and Sonja; sister, Samantha and fiance Max Shrake; brothers Travis and Michael. Brad left behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts & uncles, second cousins, and friends from wherever he happened to be.
