Angelica Fernandez, 48, of Thomason Rd., passed away at her home Saturday, August 1, 2020. Angelica was born in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Francisco and Dolores (Sanchez) Cueto. She moved to Carlsbad and attended NMSU receiving a certificate in accounting in 2005. Angelica opened her business J & L bookkeeping and immigration service. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with family and taking family trips. She was always in her office helping families with all their problems. Angelica was always singing– her name really fits her… “Angelica”. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ivonne and her mother, Dolores. Survivors are her husband, Bernardo Fernandez; daughters: Jaylin and Xitlaly Fernandez; son, Lalo Fernandez; brothers: Jose Luis, Sergio, Saul, Arturo; sister: Claudia Elena and son-in-law, Saul Delgodo, Teresa and Laticia and 3 dogs- Nala, Bella and Luna.
